Sundance Digital is heading to NAB this April with new and revamped automation software designed to simplify master control operations, news production and digital workflow.
Topping the offerings will be the next generation of FastBreak XPress software for program playback and spot insertion. The basic hardware for running it comprises two workstations—the Media Prep for ingesting the content and the Air Control for playout. FastBreak XPress is upgradeable to FastBreak NXT and Titan Automation as facility needs grow.
Sundance says that its Web Inventory has undergone a complete overhaul with a new user interface based on Microsoft’s .Net technology. The application allows users to access Titan and Fast Break NXT playlists, databases, Intelli-Sat schedules and low-resolution copies of server content.
Sundance’s Network Attached Storage is intended to be a low-cost alternative to online server storage. Offered in a range of RAID configurations and capacities, NAS bundles include storage and disk/archive management applications.
